Francisco Blanch - Merrill LynchFrancisco Blanch is Managing Director and Head of Global Commodity Research at Merrill Lynch. He joined Merrill Lynch in April 2005 and his role focuses on the analysis of commodity prices and derivatives. He publishes the Commodity Strategist, the Energy Strategist, the Global Energy Weekly, and Commodity Derivatives Insights, a set of tactical publications widely followed by Merrill’s corporate and investor clients. Since May 2006, Dr. Blanch sits on Merrill Lynch’s Research Investment Committee, a group that advises Merrill Lynch’s Global Private Client (GPC) arm with nearly $2 trillion in client assets. Prior to joining Merrill Lynch, Dr. Blanch was an energy economist focusing on global oil & gas in the Commodity Research group at Goldman Sachs & Co. and consulted for the European Commission and other public and private organisations. |

Chris Skrebowski - Peak Oil Consulting Chris Skrebowski has nearly 40 years experience in the Oil Industry, starting work in 1970 as a long-term planner for BP. He was senior analyst for the Saudi Oil Ministry in London (1985-1994), editor of Petroleum Economist (1994-97) and editor of Petroleum Review (1997-current), the magazine of the UK Energy Institute, and is the founding director of Peak Oil Consulting. Chris is also a founding member of the Association for the Study of Peak Oil and sits on the board of the Oil Depletion and Analysis Centre. He is a Fellow of the Energy Institute and advises the All Party Parliamentary Group on Peak Oil and Gas. |
